A magnificent Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox World Time circa 1960’s, in stainless steel. The watch has cream dial with a pristine inside world time city calendar ring. The date is at 3 o’clock and the logo at 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, both crown are original with the JLC logo. The case is in stainless steel. In the back you have engraved “Memovox” 1016106 – The watch has an olive green leather strap with lime green stitch. The Memovox or 'voice of the mind' created in 1950s is one of the most iconic models of Jaeger-LeCoultre, initially built around a mechanical calibre, the watch was equipped in 1957 with the first automatic movement in Jager-LeCoultre's history with an alarm function. This watch houses that famous cal: K815 movement, which was considered as a real breakthrough in the industry.

The story of LeCoultre started in 1833 with Charles Antoine LeCoultre. In 1844 he invented the “millionometre” and then in 1851, he obtained a gold medal for his work and products at the universal exhibition.
