An antique Japanese miniature Inro on a yellow gold long chain. The Inro is embelished with yellow gold floral pattern to the front and reverse with a secret section that opens up to store goods. An inro is a traditional Japanese case for holding small objects, suspended from the obi (sash) worn around the waist when wearing a kimono. Inro has been used for over 300 years in Japanese culture.
